Guards for CO2 lasers combined with tailor-made conveyor belts especially designed for the medical field can be adapted to suit manual marking of blister packs or pouches, suitable for off-line small production batches as they have very short size change times.
All guards are provided with CE declaration, and they allow downgrading the laser application to Class 1. They comply with laser standards and machine standards for the pertinent part thus allowing installers to issue the CE declaration of correct installation. They minimize residual risks thus avoiding costly training procedures on laser technology for the user personnel. They are custom made thanks to an accurate study of the production line, the target material, the laser’s characteristics (power, wavelength, type of optics, type of radiation) and dimensions of the product to be marked.
